No PS3 DLC for Skyrim?

People have been waiting for a while for the PS3 version of the Dawnguard DLC that has been announced a while ago and released starting June on the Xbox 360 and PC. But due to issues concerning the PS3 version of the expansion it has been delayed indefinitely, and also future projects for the system could be cancelled.
Bethesda said that the DLC just won't sustain itself on the system and is a very hard problem to fix for Dawnguard or any other DLC that will be announced in the future for the platform.
This issue is a definite down side for the PS3 owners, for Bethesda, and for Sony.
